DIY: How to generate a CSR in your cPanel.

A CSR (certificate signing request) is a block of details containing encoded text. You are likely to encounter CSR when applying for an SSL certificate as it is a requirement to provide it to a Certificate Authority (CA) during the process. It is generated on the server hence your domain must have a hosting account. Kindly find screenshots and steps on how to generate your CSR file in your cPanel.
Step 1: Login to your cPanel. Scroll down to security.
Step 2: Click SSL/TLS
Step 3: Click Certificate Signing Request (CSR)- Generate, view, or delete SSL certificate signing requests.
Step 4: Fill in the request form as required. Kindly check the screenshots on more information on filling the form.
Step 5: Click the Generate button to generate the new CSR.
